The LA Times has reported that Kurt Rambis flew to Minnesota to meet with the Timberwolves front office, including Glen Taylor. Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Kurt Rambis is expected to get an official offer tomorrow has already begun assembling his staff. Dave Wohl is expected to be the top assistant hire and one current Timberwolves assistant may likely stay as well. Ed Pinckney and Dean Cooper were both mentioned as possibilities for this role. Also in the report is a mention that Rubio’s agent, Dan Fegan, is “fond” of Rambis, so this hire could possibly help the floppy haired passing sensation’s situation as well.
