The St. Paul Pioneer Press is reporting that the Timberwolves and Kurt Rambis are in negotiations for a contract. He is expected to sign a 4 year $8 million contract at this point.

Reports are surfacing that Ricky Rubio has declared that he will return to DKV Joventut next season and that the team will take him back. Either this is for real, or is it’s more bluffing. The situation has gotten so far out of hand, it’s hard to tell. Plus with Jordi Villacampa saying that Rubio will not be back on the team just a few days ago…who knows. For the moment, I’ll assume Rubio is staying in Spain for real unless something else materializes. If his agent Dan Fegan manages to pull together enough endorsements, I’m pretty sure Rubio still has the right to buy out his contract, but it doesn’t look like it’s coming at a discount. Anyone know how much Gillette is paying Rubio for being in their commercial?
