Yesterday was media day for the 2009-10 Minnesota Timberwolves. From Corey Brewer talking Tim Tebow to Big Al touting Jonny Flynn as the next Chris Paul, the event was exciting and interesting for all kinds of Wolves fans.
All the players did interviews with timberwolves.com and took pictures to display for the upcoming season. Most of the players were pretty excited to get training camp going in Mankato (they arrived today), and were even more excited to meet their new teammates.

The presumed last move of the off-season has finally happened. The extremely fluid roster of the Minnesota Timberwolves has been solidified with the signing of Sash Pavlovic. In case you don’t know who Sasha is, he is the 24 year old SG/SF from the Cleveland Cavaliers team that went to the finals. With the Songaila having come and gone, the Wolves see themselves better positioned once again for the 2010 off-season. Every bad contract we had in our possession at the beginning of the year is now gone, and the only contracts we have left on our team past next year  are reasonable contracts for players that belong in the NBA (minus maybe Pecherov and Brewer for that last part). On Wednesday afternoon, the Wolves completed yet another summer trade. Another player has come and gone just during this offseason, and another player on last year’s roster will be playing for another team maybe next season. In return for Songaila and Brown, the Timberwolves receive Antonio Daniels and a 2014 2nd round pick. Daniels is in the last season in his contract, and could provide some much needed veteran depth for the Wolves this season at the guard position, while the 2nd round pick is most likely as a formality to make the deal look just a little bit better [...]

Alright, this may not be about our Wolves team, but this story is so mind boggling amazing, I had to comment on it. Allen Iverson, Mr. Practice has gone from being a $21 million a year player to a man that settled for a one year deal worth $3.5 million. David Kahn is nothing if not both active and unpredictable. Coming just days after the announcement of Rubio staying in Spain for two more years, the Timberwolves are on the verge of signing Ramon Sessions to an offer sheet according to Gery Woelfel of the Journal Times.
