As for Jefferson, his inflamed Achilles tendon should be good to go for the October 28th season opener against the Nets. The Wolves did send him home from Detroit today, however, to recover from the flu/severe cold he has been getting through the past few days. His status as of right now is day-to-day.

It is increasingly unlikely that there will be a potential trade partner for either player, so expect news of a buyout.
