Wolves Receive Quarter Pounder Sized Beatdown... Hold The Mayo

The Wolves came into the game last night on three days rest after absolutely demolishing the Toronto Raptors on Saturday. Instead of looking rested and ready to go, the Wolves looked absolutely lethargic, and overall apethetic. The team went down early to the Grizzlies, and never gave themselves a chance to get back into it.

There were multiple times in this game that the Wolves just simply looked like they didnt care. From Darko being iso’d on four straight possessions, to the wolves giving up noncontested layups five straight times down the court, the Wolves just looked content to mail this one in and try again Friday against the Raptors.

There were only three bright spots in this atrocity of a basketball game, and those were:

  1. Beasley taking over in the third
  2. Wayne Ellington looking like a stud for two minutes
  3. Kevin Love kept his double-double streak alive (barely)

Other than these small tidbits, there was and is still nothing good to say about that basketball “game”. On a sidenote, the Grizzlies are now 4-0 without O.J. Mayo. Anyone still think that draft day trade was a mistake? Thank you Kevin McHale!
