NBA Plans To Cancel 2 More Weeks Of Games: YAWN

Sources have told the New York Daily News that the NBA is soon planning to announce that it will cancel another 2 weeks of games.  This basically whipes out the entire month of November, and puts the annual Christmas day games in jeopardy.  Everybody all together now…..YAAAAAAAAAWN.

As reported last week, the players and owners are far apart on the issues surrounding the NBA Lockout.   This lockout is shaping up very similarily to the 1999 NBA Lockout which saw the two sides barely beat the deadline for cancelling the season.  The two sides agreed to terms in January of 1999, resulting in a 50 game season.  Let’s cross our fingers that we get to that point early enough this season.

Until then, Timberwolves fans are waiting for the day they can HOWL.  It might be a while, these guys don’t seem to get it.
