As part of the inaugural NBA 3X Tour, a 16-week event sponsored by none other than the NBA and BBVA that will feature recreational basketball activities which is spotlighted by a countrywide 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Our Timberwolves Dances will be going to Spain, the home country of Wolves’ rookie sensation Ricky Rubio, for the next two weeks. This event will definitely allow the Timberwolves franchise to advertise and make ties with the home country of their newest basketball star.

This will be the fourth time in recent years that the Wolves Dancers will leave the United States, however, this will be their first time in Spain. The squad traveled to China last year and the team started their international tours by being part of the NBA’s Jam Van Asian tour in 2006. When the Wolves visited France in the fall of 2010 for NBA Europe Live, the dancers gladly accompanied the players and coaching staff for training camp and preseason games.
