First and foremost, *clears throat*, well deserved LeBron well deserved …
Through all the criticisms and insults, through all the ridiculous NBA Memes on Facebook, through all the jabs thrown at you by NBA Hall of Famers, owners (Hi Dan Gilbert, the Cavs owner who promised to win an NBA championship before LeBron!) and sports analysts and journalists, through all the hatred thrown at you from basically everywhere since you decided to take your talents to South Beach, and through all heartbreaking losses in the post season, LeBron pulled through and led, yes led, not D-Wade anymore nuh-uh, the Miami Heat to the franchise’s second NBA championship.
His determination, focus, perseverance, and hard work in this year’s NBA post season is easily comparable to those of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, two players LeBron has always been compared to. Throughout the entire post season, LeBron has dominated the games, especially when it mattered the most and when his team was on the ropes (Game 6 vs Boston), and through all those successes in the first 15 wins of the NBA playoffs, LeBron rarely smiled.
In the past NBA post seasons, LeBron would normally celebrate a lot after eliminating a team or whenever the Heat or even Cavaliers would win a game. This post season, just as we have seen from Kobe before, LeBron was a man on a mission. And he was 100% serious about winning an NBA championship this year. When the clock was ticking down in Game 5, that was the only time I have honestly seen LeBron James very happy this entire NBA post season. The way he celebrated in this game was similar to how he acted after winning a Game 3 of an NBA 1st round series, but not this post season until he won the title for sure.
Congratulations LeBron and congratulations as well to Chris Bosh for winning his first NBA championship. Well deserved you guys, you’ve earned it. And now it’s time to win another one, and then another one, and then another one … is that what you promised LeBron? Anyways, I won’t try to bring that up and make that a huge topic, all that matters now and in the future is that LeBron James has won an NBA championship and it was well-deserved.
Congratulations to the 2012 NBA Champion Miami Heat!
Come ooooon Timberwolves … tick tock
