Kevin Love Nominated As Best NBA Player For 2012 ESPYS

Minnesota Timberwolves power forward and All-Star Kevin Love has been nominated in the upcoming ESPYS awards which will take place next Wednesdy (July 11) at 9:00 PM ET on ESPN.

An ESPY Award, short for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award, is an accolade presented by the American cable television network ESPN to recognize individual and team athletic achievement and other sports-related performance during the calendar year preceding a given annual ceremony. And yes, this was taken from Wikipedia.

This past season, Love led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a somewhat turnaround season with his MVP-like performance during the entire 2011-2012 NBA regular season. Love averaged 26.0 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.

I know most people would vote for LeBron James mainly because, well … he’s the best in the NBA now, but for Timberwolves fans, let’s all vote for this guy.
