The other NBA preseason game will be played by the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors as they will play in Montreal at the Bell Centre on October 19

The Minnesota Timberwolves have also released their schedule for the 2012 NBA Preseason games which will be held in Downtown Minneapolis. The Timberwolves will be taking on Luol Deng and the Chicago Bulls on October 13 and Israeli club Maccabi Bazan Haifa on October 16. The other games of Minnesota’s 2012 NBA Preseason schedule will be released at a later date.

The NBA Canada Series will be the first time games are going to be held in a country as part of the NBA’s marquee international slate. The National Basketball Association has previously been noted for the NBA China Games, NBA Mexico Game, and most notably the NBA Europe Live.

The Timberwolves have been able to take part in some of these international games which allow players on the team to bond together in a different environment. The team took part in NBA Europe Live in 2010 and played games in London and in Paris.
