Rebounding just put this game out of of reach. Kevin Love has been quite disappointing today.
Now it’s a 12 point lead.
This game has really fallen apart for Minny. However, they are only down 6 so they can come back relatively easily.
For a team that should be so good, the Timberwolves are really giving up a huge lead.
Wolves give up their patented late quarter collapse and go down 86-79.
Golden State is dominating our front line with two players who are 6-7 and 6-6.
So the plan to make Derrick Williams play well is to bench him for 2 games.
End of Quarter 3
D-Will of all people got the Wolves ahead with 2 shots. Shved’s 2 free throws put them up 74-70.
GS just took the lead on two free throws by David Lee: 68-66.
Love just threw the ball of the Steamer’s back and drew 2 free throws. Oddest play ever.
Wolves once again getting burnt by dribble penetration.
If Minnesota had any semblance of outside shooting, they would have an easy double digit lead.
Shved cannot guard the pick and roll. He seems to run right into the pick every set on him.
Steph curry fouls a lot. He’s gotten Ridnour at least 3 times trying to steal.
Love is showing is surprising athleticism.
Lee bringing the ball up. Looks like RA is trying to give him purpose on offense.
Refs being quite friendly to Minnesota. First time in a long time.
Check out that dunk.
This game has quickly turn from a slog into a offensive smorgasbord.
Shved’s change of speed on his drives are simply amazing.
Wolves being super-aggressive on defense. Unfortunately, GS just shot their way back into the game.
Minnesota’s bench is dominating Golden State’s starters. Looks a bit like the other previous games.
Lee just made a ridiculous prayer.
Minny would have a huge lead if 60% of open shots were hit. Instead, the entire team has gone cold.
Howard stepping up with some good veteran plays. Wolves could really use him right now.
Derrick Williams sighting!!
Shved is making another jump pass. He has to stay on his feet when does a feed. He’s definitely tall enough.
Cunningham with the quick hands on two consecutive plays.
End of Quarter 1: Minnesota 18, Golden State 16.
Would like to see Derrick Williams vs. Carl Landry. Cunningham is a great role player, but he isn’t a great interior defender.
Good awareness from Kirilenko on that play. Comes with the play and dunks it.
AK47 has gotten some bad no calls.
Imagine how much better this roster would be if Golden State didn’t have to take Biedrin’s massive contract.
Draymond Green just pulled a Darko and knocked the ball into his own hoop.
Lee just absolutely shut out Steph Curry. Definitely what they need from him.
Ridnour just cannot shoot. It’s either mechanical or a confidence issue. The sooner he figures it out, the better he compensate for his lack of defense.
Wolves super cold to start off the game: 3-15
Malcolm Lee just wrestled the ball from Kevin Love. Impressive, but completely unneccessary.
This GSW team is one of the taller teams in the league. All of their starters are taller than most players in their positions.
Malcolm Lee isn’t getting any sort of help from the zebras on his cuts to the hoop.
Has Derrick Williams really been that bad to deserve the doghouse? His defense has atleast been satisfactory.
Looks like starting lineup looks like Ridnour, Lee, Kirilenko, Love and Pekovic.
Hopefully, Minnesota manages to get their team chemistry back in order and get a much needed win.
Wolves continue their West Coast trip to take on the surging Golden State Warriors. Before the season started the Warriors were considered to be one of the big up-and-comers along with Minnesota.
