The Wolves fail to win back to back games.

The Wolves fail to win back to back games.  Roy Hibbert and the Indiana Pacers stopped the Wolves 107- 91 as the Wolves were looking to win back to back games for the first time since Christmas. Ricky Rubio was 4 rebounds shy of his 2nd triple double in as many nights.
The Pacers jumped out to a quick 10-0 nothing lead to start the game.  The Wolves battled back to all throughout the first quarter narrowing the Pacers lead down to 4 at one point and trailed 35-28 at the end of the first quarter. The Wolves continuously fought back every time it looked like the Pacers were going to pull away. The Wolves were down 8 at the half, and 13 after 3.

Ricky once again had another great game, going 6-14 and led the Wolves with 21 points. He also had 10 assists, 6 rounds and 3 steals on the night.  The Wolves also got double figure scoring from Luke Ridnour with 17, Greg Stiemsma 13, Dante Cunningham 12 and Derrick Williams with 10.

Roy Hibbert was too much for the Wolves on the night as he finished with a game high 27 points and 12 rebounds. The Pacers outrebounded the Wolves 49 – 36 and finished the night shooting 50% from the field while the Wolves hit 43.8% of their shots.

Not only did the Wolves suffer a loss to the Pacers, but they also suffered the devastating news of Kevin Love’s check-up, stating he will still need to be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks almost ensuring that he will miss the rest of the season.

The Wolves will get a day off before they take on the Houston Rockets in Houston on Friday with a 7 pm tip.
