Timberwolves Draft Lottery: Wolves stay at #13, Cavs win

The 96%-or-so chance of the Wolves sticking at their original slot indeed came to fruition on Tuesday evening.

The NBA Draft Lottery is completed, with the only crazy, odds-beating story being the Cleveland Cavaliers, once again. They jumped all the way from the #9 slot in the draft and landed the #1 pick for the second consecutive season and the third in four seasons despite having  just a 1.7% chance at the top position.

Expect to hear a bunch of crazy ideas for Kevin Love trades to Cleveland, although it’s hard to find a legitimate trade offer coming from the Cavs, much less Love re-upping in Northern Ohio.

Enjoy tonight’s Pacers-Heat match-up, and stay tuned for additional coaching search notes and thoughts on Love rumors.
