The Timberwolves’ 2014-15 regular season schedule was released late in the afternoon on Wednesday.
The Wolves will open the season on Wednesday, October 29th in Memphis. The NBA kicks-off the night before in San Antonio, with the Dallas Mavericks visiting the defending-champion Spurs on TNT.
The Wolves’ home home opener is on Thursday, October 30th (yes, the second night of a back-to-back to start the season) against the Detroit Pistons.
Also of note are the Wolves two nationally-televised contests on ESPN. One is the “home” game to be played in Mexico on Wednesday, November 12th, and a home game against Phoenix on January 7th. The other pseudo-nationally televised games are a home game against the Chicago Bulls on November 1st and at the Los Angeles Lakers on April 10th. The Wolves do not have any TNT game scheduled for the upcoming season.
Kevin Love and the Cavaliers won’t visit Minneapolis until Saturday, January 31st, which will also be the second night of a road-and-home back-to-back after a game against the Sixers in Philadelphia on Friday the 30th. The Wolves will visit Cleveland on Tuesday, December 23rd.
The final schedule can be found on the team’s website.
