Stay tuned to DWW all week for maximum draft coverage. In the meantime, enjoy Version 1 of our mock draft!

1. Minnesota Timberwolves

player. 86. Towns is the best player in this draft and is a perfect fit for the Wolves’ young, promising roster.. Power Forward. Kentucky. Karl-Anthony Towns. 1

2. Los Angeles Lakers

Center. Duke. Jahlil Okafor. 2. player. 20. It’s tough to see Kobe Bryant wanting to play alongside another ball-dominant guard in D’Angelo Russell. Right or wrong, they’ll ultimately go the traditional route with a big, fundamental center.

3. Philadelphia 76ers

93. Lots of rumors regarding Kristaps Porzingis here, but the Sixers won’t pass on an efficient combo guard with Russell’s size.. Shooting Guard. Ohio State. D'Angelo Russell. 3. player

4. New York Knicks

27. The Knicks need big men, and they’ll take the upside of the Latvian seven-footer. That is, unless they trade the pick.. Power Forward. Latvia. Kristaps Porzingis. 4. player

5. Orlando Magic

Willie Cauley-Stein. 5. player. 38. The Magic will forego any concerns of putting a defensive-minded player like Cauley-Stein next to Nikola Vucevic and simply take the best player available.. Center. Kentucky
