With the Minnesota Timberwolves’ season over, we take a look at their five best games this season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves lost seven out of their last eight games of the season, dropping them into a tie with the New York Knicks for the seventh-worst record in the NBA.

Coming into the season, Timberwolves’ fans had visions of playoffs dancing in their heads. Even though that wasn’t very likely, it’s hard not to get excited when you have Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns on your team.

Although the Timberwolves fell short of their goal, they still provided us with a lot of great moments along the way.

Given the abundance of talent the young Timberwolves’ possess their games were never short of the highlight plays which typically came on offense. Whether it be a Zach LaVine dunk, a Wiggins spin move or a Towns fade away, the Timberwolves were fun to watch each and every night.

Their highlight plays didn’t always translate to victories for the team but it was a consolation prize none the less.

Over the course of the 82 game season, the Minnesota Timberwolves forced fans to tune into all of their games as they were must watch television. They even had a game late in the year against the Golden State Warriors get moved to national television on ESPN.

This fact was not lost on Timberwolves’ fans as we continued to watch them play long after they were eliminated from the playoffs.
