The 2017 NBA Draft promises to have lots of drama and suspense, especially surrounding the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Tom Thibodeau and Scott Layden are preparing to go into their second NBA Draft with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Let’s hope the player they end up with turns out better than last years.

This is the third, and final, edition of the Dunking With Wolves Big Board as the draft is basically here.

There have been a lot of changes as we have gotten a better understanding of who will and won’t be available come the seventh overall pick.

More from Draft

For example, for some time there were rumors swirling that Jayson Tatum might fall into the Wolves’ lap at seven. However, it now seems likely that he will be drafted by the Boston Celtics at No. 3. After all, Tatum is projected to go number three to the Celtics in the DraftExpress mock draft AND The Ringer‘s draft guide. Because of that information, I have removed him from the Timberwolves’ Big Board.

It also appears extremely unlikely that De’Aaron Fox falls past number five and the Sacramento Kings. They are in need of a point guard and he projects to fit well alongside Buddy Hield. So you can cross him off the list.

That leaves us with four prospects who have a realistic chance of being drafted by the Timberwolves at number seven.

Here is the ranking and the order the Wolves would take each player if they were all still on the board come draft night.
