Hours after the  Minnesota Timberwolves traded away floor general Ricky Rubio, they signed point guard Jeff Teague to a three-year $57 million deal.

Ricky Rubio and Jeff Teague do not play the same game. For example, Teague is a better shooter, whereas Rubio isn’t considered a “good” shooter.

However, Rubio is a better passer as many know after watching his game the past several years in a Wolves uniform.

Plays like this have made Wolves fans forget about all the losing season this team has endured over the past 13 years.

But it’s time to look at towards the exciting and promising future, and not the dark past.

The Timberwolves have made many moves this off-season, and they aren’t done yet. They have 10 players under contract, which means they are going to sign five more players.

It has been an exciting off-season, as many people are saying they have had one of the best summers so far. It will be an exciting team to watch play and how they gel together.

Jeff Teague is still just 29-years old after 8 good seasons in the league. His best season was during the 2014-2015 season when he made his only appearance in the All-Star game.

Over his career, Teague has averaged 12.6 points a game, 5.5 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 35 percent from three, and 1.2 steals.

These stats don’t totally tell the story as his first two seasons in the league weren’t the best. The past five seasons is something to keep to get excited about.
