<p>The Minnesota Timberwolves fell for their 2nd straight game. The Dallas Mavericks improved to 29-33 on the season as they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves (21-39) 100 – 77 on Sunday night at The Target Center. The Wolves looked as if day light savings time impacted their game on, as the Mavs controlled the game from the start of the second quarter and never looked back as they cruised to the victory.</p>
<p>The Mavs got great production from their bench once again, as they outscored the Wolves bench 68 – 29. The Wolves bench not only got outscored, the Wolves in general were beat in almost every statistical column. The Wolves shot 36.4% to the Mavs 45.7% from the field and 11.1 from 3, while the Mavs hit 38.1%. The Wolves were out rebounded 59-40. The Mavs had better ball movement as they had 27 team assists compared to the Wolves 21. The Wolves did only have 9 turnovers on the night, as they forced the Mavs into 12 turnovers on the night.</p>
<p>The Wolves looked very tired as they played the 2nd of their back to back. Not only was this their 2nd of a back to back, but throw in the factors of playing in altitude in Denver last night, getting into Minnesota after a delay due to weather. Loosing 2 total hours by time zones and day light savings time, this was one wore out Wolves team. The Wolves also had only 9 players while they Mavs had 12, and played all of them.</p>
<p>The Wolves one bright spot was Derrick Williams who put up 18 &amp; 9 respectively.  The Wolves also got double digit point production from JJ Berea with 16, Mickael Gelabale 13 and Greg Stiemsma with 10. The Mavs were lead in scoring by Vince Carter with 22 off the bench.</p>
<p>The Wolves will get 1 day off before they host the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday with a 7 o’clock tip.</p>
