Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star forward Kevin Love has been gettting creative while trying to pass the time during the NBA’s lockout.  Love seems to be all over the map this offseason, he even tried his hand at pro-beach volley ball this summer.  Recently, Love starred in a skit video for funnyordie.com, along with Dallas Mavericks players Tyson Chandler & Shawn Marion.  Watch the video here.

I’m typically a pretty tough critic on these athletes when they make their attempts at acting.   For example, I think Lebron James is terrible but Steve Nash is fantastic!   Kevin Garnett really had the charisma on camera too.   In the funnyordie video about the “Lock In”, I thought Kevin Love did a really good job.  He wasn’t mechanical in reading his lines, and seemed to have a natural instict for comedy.   I can’t say the same for Chandler & Marion.   Marion was especially pathetic this time around.   That’s OK, thanks to those guys for chipping in during our NBA lockout boredom.
