The NBA Trade Deadline is on Thursday, and the Wolves might be active.
The Minnesota Timberwolves pulled off two trades in one day last week, sending Mo Williams and Troy Daniels to Charlotte and picking up Adreian Payne from the Atlanta Hawks. Williams was by far the most likely player to be moved before the deadline, and it happened nine days before many expected it to after apparently materializing very quickly.
The Wolves have a few other veterans that are potential trade targets for a variety of reasons. They have some players that other teams would love to have that Flip Saunders surely won’t move, and there are players that they’d love to move but nobody else wants them. Most players on the roster fall under one category or the other, but we’re going to look at the five most likely players to be shipped out by the Wolves.

(Side note: Gary Neal won’t be included in this piece as Saunders has stated that he’ll be on the team but news persists that he’s pushing for a buyout and that some contenders want his services badly enough that it seems that Minnesota could even flip him in another trade.)
These potential trades are ranked in order of the fifth-most likely player to be moved down to the player that is the most likely to no longer be on the Wolves’ roster by the end of the week.
