Tonight, our Minnesota Timberwolves will be at the Toyota Center to take on the Houston Rockets.
The Wolves are coming off of a devastating overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers at home on Wednesday night, while the Rockets were able to squeak out a close win over the New Orleans Pelicans in their last game.
In that game against the Pelicans, the Rockets were able to get Dwight Howard back from a two-month absence due to injury. Howard’s presence in the paint both offensively and defensively was sorely missed, and having him back will be huge for the Rockets tonight.
The Wolves will likely be shorthanded again tonight, continuing to play with eight healthy players as they have the past few games. Sounds like Justin Hamilton could have a bigger impact on tonight’s game after playing minimally in Wednesday’s game.
The last time these two teams squared off, the Rockets were able to earn a 113-102 win over the Wolves. Maybe more significant is what James Harden did to Ricky Rubio.
Hopefully, we won’t see something like this happen again tonight.
