It’s been well-chronicled just how difficult of a season this was for the Minnesota Timberwolves organization and their fans. Sure, not much was expected coming into the year, but I’d be surprised if any predicted the Wolves would finish with the NBA’s worst record at 16-66.
There were devastating injuries, questionable roster decisions and tons and tons of poor on-court performances. This post will focus on the positives from the trying 2014-2015 campaign though and believe it or not, there were actually some bright spots and moments that had to make Minnesota fans smile.
From a long-lost former superstar’s return home, to a historically great individual output, to lots and lots of impressive rookie throw downs, let’s take a look at the top five moments (in no particular order) from the Timberwolves recently completed regular season.
