It’s hard to decide which of the two 50-point scorers in Wolves history was more shocking to see – Corey Brewer or Mo Williams.
While his stay in Minnesota was very brief, Williams did make his presence known by setting a franchise record for points on Jan. 13 in a win over the Indiana Pacers.
The point guard hit a handful of extremely clutch shots in this one, basically single-handedly carrying the team to victory. The way the Eastern Conference standings turned out, Williams also single-handedly kept the Indiana Pacers out of the playoffs.
