Well there really aren’t too many “signature wins” to choose from when you only have 16 to pick from. Both KG’s return and Williams’ outburst resulted in Ws, but here’s the most impressive win for Minnesota from the season.

The always underrated Memphis Grizzlies were coming to town on Feb. 6, riding high on an eight-game winning streak. It wasn’t easy, but the Wolves held off this Western Conference playoff team at the Target Center, 90-89.

Maybe this one wasn’t a standout game for the Wolves offense, but this was arguably the best defensive effort of the year. They out-rebounded a big Memphis squad 43-30, took eight steals and this was the middle game of a season-long three game winning streak.
