This is the second piece of a series of NBA Draft Profiles that will look at prospects that the Timberwolves have shown interest in and may eventually draft in the 2015 NBA Draft. The second profile will look at Jahlil Okafor of Duke.

Jahlil Okafor is another player that is a serious candidate to go to the Minnesota Timberwolves first overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. It appears as if the two frontrunners are Okafor and Karl-Anthony Towns of Kentucky. In reality, Flip Saunders, the head coach, part-owner, and president of basketball operations for the Timberwolves, can’t go wrong with either of these players.

Okafor is another player that is jumping to the NBA after just one season at the college level. To Okafor’s credit, that one season as a Duke Blue Devil was spectacular. He led Duke to a victory in the NCAA National Championship game and made a serious case for himself as the most talented player in this draft class.he

Rumor has it that Saunders loves Okafor and likely has him ahead of Towns on his draft board. He has even compared him to Tim Duncan, which is some pretty high praise if you ask me.
