#5 – Wolves @ Utah Jazz – Friday, January 29th

I’ll be the first to admit that this is a seemingly random selection for a top-five game in the Wolves’ 2015-16 season, but hear me out.

First of all, it’s a cop-out to only pick the nationally-televised games. But just as importantly, the Jazz are an up-and-coming division opponent. The young squad won 38 games last season, and while they recently lost guard Dante Exum for the season to a torn ACL, it’s still an improving young team.

You may remember the Wolves’ Zach LaVine-led comeback back on March 23rd. If not, we do, and ranked it the third-best contest from last season.

Between the Wolves’ return to the scene of that crazy comeback, the Jazz having an exciting young squad that could be a serious division rival for years to come, and it being a Friday night in the meat of the season (in other words, we should largely know what we have in the 2015-16 Wolves by that point), this is a game to look forward to a bit down the road.
