#3 – Wolves vs. Cleveland Cavaliers – Friday, January 8th
The second ESPN-televised game for the Wolves in the 2015-16 season won’t come until January, but it will be a doozy.
The defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers will be visiting Target Center, bringing with them former Wolves superstar Kevin Love and the best player on the planet in LeBron James.
Last year, Andrew Wiggins scored 60 points on 23 of 41 shooting across two games against the organization that drafted him first-overall in 2014 before shipping him to Minnesota as the key component of the trade that landed Love in Cleveland. Wiggins also shot 6 of 7 from beyond the arc combined between the two contests.
Love put up 20 points and 14 rebounds in Cleveland back on December 23 and tallied 14 points and 17 rebounds in Minneapolis in January of 2015.
Throw in a Friday night on ESPN, and you have the third-most-anticipated game on the Wolves schedule.
