Winner #2: Nemanja Bjelica
Bjelica has been a mystery ever since it was announced that he was coming over from Europe this year. Highlights showed that he was a big man with range and good dribbling ability, but nobody knew how well his skills would translate to against better competition in the NBA.
Through three games, it seems like Bjelica has already found his niche. He’s been very consistent so far, averaging 11.3 points per game and six rebounds per game on 55% shooting, including 6 of 9 from deep. He also has five steals in those three games, showing a bit of good defense.
Bjelica will likely continue to get better as he gets more acclimated to the NBA, but as of right now, he seems like he will be a very good stretch-four coming off the bench.
