14. Portland Trail Blazers

Damian Lillard.

You’re going to be hearing his name A LOT in the upcoming season. Why? Because the Portland Trail Blazers don’t quite have any other offensive threat on the entire team.

The Trail Blazers had the most turnover from last season to this, including losing four starters and their sixth man. To replace those guys (and a few others), Portland found themselves acquiring eleven new faces. Here’s a complete list: Gerald Henderson, Al-Farouq Aminu, Ed Davis, Noah Vonleh, Mason Plumlee, Cliff Alexander. Pat Connaughton, Tim Frazier, Phil Pressey, Maurice “Mo” Harkless, and Luis Montero.

Terry Stotts has the reputation of being an exemplary coach, but with this roster, it’s going to be hard for him to get anything going. As a whole, the team lacks experience, talent, depth, and talent. It was even hard to convince myself that the Blazers have more talent the the Nuggets do as of now, but Damian Lillard was the deciding factor.
