The Case for Ricky Rubio

I once went to see the movie “12 Monkeys” and was told by the ticket taker that the copy they received was spliced out of order but that they were still showing it anyway. I regret that I chose not to see it, but when I watch the Wolves without Rubio on the floor, I feel like I am getting a glimpse of the indiscernible mess it must have been. Rubio is more than a prescient passer, he’s the Wolves best editor – he shapes a collection of random characters and broken scenes into a cohesive story that actually makes sense. – Jude Bell

The Case for Andrew Wiggins

Wiggins will be looked upon to score and he’s the best wing defender on the team. The improvements Wiggins made to his ball-handling and three point shooting this off-season will improve his play tremendously. – Tim Parochka

The Case for Kevin Garnett

He may not lead the team in any category and he may only play 18 minutes a night, but I think KG is going to be the most valuable player for the Wolves this year. He will anchor the defense while he’s on the court and teach everyone defensive rotations and communication, things that will be extremely important when the Wolves are good in a few years. – Randy Spurlock

Final Count: Ricky Rubio (8 votes), Andrew Wiggins (2 votes), Kevin Garnett (1 vote)
