If you’re thinking that there isn’t much to select from when compiling the 30 greatest moments in Timberwolves history, well, you wouldn’t be entirely correct. There’s plenty to choose from.
Sure, it’s a…different sort of 30 greatest moments than say, the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, or San Antonio Spurs. But there are certainly some special things that have happened since the inaugural season of 1989-90, up through the off-season leading into the 2015-16 campaign.
We’ll touch on the franchise’s arrival in the Twin Cities and Glen Taylor’s role in keeping the team in Minneapolis. The Hall of Fame career of Kevin Garnett will claim multiple spots on the countdown, and even Kevin Love and some members of the current squad will find themselves on the list.
