30 Greatest Moments In Timberwolves History

#30 – Corey Brewer Posterizes Derek Fisher
This was arguably the best in-game dunk in Timberwolves history, not to disparage any of the many awesome dunks that Kevin Garnett managed in his first stint with the team.
The Wolves were terrible at the time, in the early stages of a 15-win season under Kurt Rambis. They lost the game in which the above massive dunk occurred to drop their record to 3-20 on the season, and this dunk was an exciting but fleeting moment in a completely miserable stretch for the franchise.
It was a 15-win season sandwiched between a 24-win year under a combination of current Washington Wizards coach Randy Wittman and recently-fired Houston Rockets coach Kevin McHale and a 17-win season under Rambis in 2010-11.
You could argue that Garnett’s tip-slam against the Sacramento Kings in 2000 that was ranked number-one on the above-linked video is the best dunk in franchise history, but we’ll weight Brewers’ slam with the doldrums that Timberwolves fans endured over the past few seasons.
It’s good enough to be the #30 moment in franchise history.
