#9 – Corey Brewer, Florida, #7 in 2007 draft
Brewer has also been a solid rotation player throughout his career, including for a championship squad and some other solid playoff teams.
He never realized his potential as a #7 pick after tearing his ACL early in his second season. The Wolves traded him in 2011 and after a title in Dallas and a couple of years in Denver, Brewer returned to Minnesota to play for what was supposed to be a playoff team in 2013-14.
The Wolves won 40 games and missed the playoffs, but Brewer provided a number of highlight moments with Kevin Love.
In his first tour with the Timberwolves, Brewer was responsible for one of the top-30 moments in franchise history with his fastbreak dunk over the Lakers’ Derek Fisher.
Wolves fans will always be fond of C-Brew, even if he didn’t quite fulfill expectations as a high lottery selection.
