Wolves trade Muhammad to Milwaukee for Michael-Carter Williams (ESPN Trade Machine)

Why Milwaukee says “yes”: The Bucks are second-to-last in pace so far this season. Muhammad loves to get out an play in transition. You have to assume a young team like the Bucks wants to play fast, and Muhammad would help meet that goal.

Muhammad would also help with Milwaukee’s low rebound rate, as they are currently 28th in the league in said category.

Why Minnesota says “yes”: Milwaukee is ready to move on from Carter-Williams, who has been a relative disappointment so far this season. It would be a risk for the Wolves to give Muhammad up for him, but it could turn out to be beneficial.

In the event that Ricky Rubio has to sit, Carter-Williams would come in. Hopefully, if this deal were to ever happen, Zach LaVine would be playing the two while MCW commands the one. Carter-Williams would not be a starter for the Wolves, but the Wolves need a little boost at the back-up point guard position. Carter-Williams could provide that.
