#9 – January 4, 2005 – Kevin Garnett: 47 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals

Kevin Garnett is the franchise leader in virtually every single category, but he was never a huge, gaudy points-per-game scorer.

His career-high in scoring remains this January 4th loss to the Phoenix Suns. Steve Nash and Amar’e Stoudemire‘s crew rolled into Target Center and bumped their record up to 27-4 on the season despite Garnett’s 47 points on 19 of 28 shooting.

In typical KG fashion, he also added 17 rebounds, four assists, and two steals. The Wolves trailed by 15 points heading into the fourth quarter and outscored Phoenix by eight points in the final frame to pull the final score to within 122-115.

Garnett was impressive in his efficiency on offense but Stoudemire put up 34 points on a crazy 15 of 19 shooting on the other end of the floor to lead the Suns to the victory.
