#14 – February 22, 2014 – Kevin Love: 37 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal
In yet another performance from the 2013-14 season, Love once again pulled the Timberwolves to within a game of the .500-mark in their ultimately unfruitful pursuit of a playoff game.
The Wolves’ superstar notched a triple-double in just 32 minutes in what turned into a 121-104 victory on the road in Salt Lake City. Equally as impressive: he only turned the ball over one time in the game and shot 6 of 10 on three-point attempts.
All five Timberwolves starters scored in double-digits but nobody on the bench managed to reach that benchmark. Ricky Rubio had a solid game with 15 points, 7 assists, and 6 assists while shooting 5 of 7 from the field.
Once again, we’ll remind you that while this is easily the best season since 2003-04 for the Wolves, it still ended in mid-April without a playoff appearance.
