I wish the Wolves would trade Kevin Martin.

I’d say this is (or should be, at least) the top item on every Wolves fan’s Christmas list. Martin has been relatively ineffective all season, and he’s starting to dig his own grave in Wolves-land. However, given Martin’s struggles, it may be hard to get a tantalizing deal for him.

I know I laid out some deals for Martin a couple of week ago, but looking back, I don’t think any of those happen. This is simply due to Martin’s lack of effectiveness this season combined with the reality of his age. That being said, a team will take a chance on him, because he still has tremendous scoring ability.

Don’t look for a blockbuster or anything like that, but I could foresee a second-round pick plus a rotation-type player being traded for Martin. Also, don’t hold your breath for the trade to happen: this wish probably won’t come true until closer to the trade deadline in February.
