Timberwolves vs. Nuggets: Wolves look to avenge prior losses
Game Prediction
There’s a good chance both teams will be without their starting point guards for this match-up, although the loss of Ricky Rubio hurts the Wolves more than the loss of Mudiay does for the Nuggets.
Jameer Nelson can hold down the starting spot for Denver with rookie Jamal Murray helping out in a backup role. Kris Dunn, however, has been up and down when given extended minutes but if he’s capable of putting together a solid game, I believe the Wolves will have a good chance of winning this game.

Neither team has any issue putting up points at a high rate; its the defensive end where they struggle and I don’t think this game will be any different. I believe we’ll see a high-scoring affair with the Wolves squeaking out a narrow 119-115 victory over the Nuggets, getting some payback for the two losses suffered in the previous meetings while moving a step closer to the eighth seed in the West.
