Golden State Warriors Preview

Record: 52-12 (home 26-4, road 26-8)

Starting Lineup

PG – Stephen Curry (24.9 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 6.3 apg)

SG – Patrick McCaw (3.8 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 1 apg)

SF – Klay Thompson (21.8 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.1 apg)

PF – Draymond Green (10.3 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 7.1 apg, 2.2 spg)

C – Zaza Pachulia (6.3 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.9 apg)

Key Reserves

Veteran Andre Iguodala (6.7 ppg, 4 rpg, 3.4 apg) plays nearly a starter’s amount of minutes at just over 26 per game and makes a big impact with his defense and play-making ability. A once big-time producer (he averaged a whopping 40 minutes a game for Philadelphia in 2007) for the 76ers, Iguodala has accepted his role with one of the best teams in the league and has an even larger role while Durant recovers from injury.

Shaun Livingston‘s (5.1 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 1.7 apg) mid-range jumpers frustrate other teams to the point of despair. His long arms and long frame in general allow him to easily rise up over opposing point guards anywhere from 12-18 feet. Kris Dunn’s defense has been terrific against opponent’s backup point guards, but he’ll get a new kind of challenge stopping the 6’-7″ Livingston when Curry is off the floor.
