This is where the lottery begins to get confusing. The 76ers hold their own lottery chances in the fourth spot with an 11.9 percent chance at the first overall pick.

However, they also hold the Lakers lottery pick IF it lands outside of the top three.

In this scenario, this is the Lakers pick that falls all the way from third to sixth. Thus the 76ers will hold two picks in the top six of this year’s draft.

That is awful news for Lakers fans yet great news for 76ers fans.

Malik Monk will provide Philadelphia with a much-needed scoring punch. As it stands now, they do not have any guards who strike fear into the heart of their opponents.

As it stands now, they do not have any guards who strike fear into the heart of their opponents. In fact, they don’t have many guards who can do much of anything.

At only 6-foot-3, Monk is undersized as a shooting guard but more than makes up for it with his explosiveness and athleticism.

He is also an aggressive and relentless scorer who can create his own shot without the help of a screen.

Monk, paired with the 76ers first pick in the first round, is a great way to jumpstart this offense and bring it back to life.

He will provide a big-time boost to Philadelphia and kick their offense into another gear.
