110. . SF. North Carolina. Justin Jackson. 14. player

The Miami Heat stayed put and retained the 14th overall pick in this lottery simulation. They never really stood much of an opportunity to move up as they only have a 0.5 percent chance of landing the number one pick.

Justin Jackson, the reigning Player of the Year in the ACC, has declared for the draft after his third season at UNC. He also tested the waters after his second year in college but ultimately decided to return last year.

Even with Justise Winslow lurking in the shadows in Miami, Jackson would be a good fit.

Winslow only played 18 games this past season and has been anything but impressive during his first two seasons in the NBA.

Even if Winslow gets healthy, Jackson is a different type of player so they should mesh well.

Jackson can step outside and hit the three, whereas Winslow is a limited outside shooter. Last season Jackson showed the ability to knock down three’s, making 2.6 per game. This was a huge improvement over his first two seasons at UNC.

There are questions about his defense but at 6-foot-8 he possesses an above average wingspan of 6 feet 11 inches. This wingspan could potentially help him out on the defensive side of the ball down the road.
