The Minnesota Timberwolves’ draft is shaping up to be extremely interesting. Who are their top prospects?

This year’sTimberwolves’ draft will be very critical to their success next season. Minnesota will be looking to snap their 13-year playoff drought and hope that the player they select on June 22 can help them do that.

It’s time to update the Timberwolves’ big board after we have acquired three critical pieces of information.

The first piece is we discovered exactly where the Timberwolves will be drafting. They fell one spot from their projected position and will be drafting seventh overall, their only pick in this year’s draft.

More from Draft

The second piece of information is the NBA combine has been completed. Even though not all of the players on this list participated in the combine, most of them participated one way or another.

The last piece is that the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw from draft consideration has now passed. That means that everyone who is declared for the draft will stay in the draft.

There are a few prospects who wouldn’t be perfect fits with the Wolves as they would have to maneuver their roster around in order to make things work. However, Minnesota will have multiple good options to choose from when they are on the clock on June 22.

The Timberwolves’ draft is shaping up to be a very exciting one. No matter who the Wolves go with, they will have a talented player to choose from.
