9. Nemanja Bjelica

Nemanja Bjelica, the 6-foot-10 power forward from Serbia thrived in coach Thibs system. With more playing time than the previous year he was really able to showcase why he was the Euroleague MVP a couple seasons ago.

He averaged a career-high 6.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game off the bench. There were multiple times during the year in which he was clutch.

He had three double-doubles on the year, and scored a career high 24 points on 9-for-15 shooting against the Los AngelesLakers on November 13, 2016.

He developed a good top of the key game throughout the year.  He would nail a three-pointer in the defenders face, or put the ball on the deck and drive it to the rim for the bucket.

Bjelica seemed very weak when defending the opposition last year and looks to bulk up over the off-season and get even healthier with his abrupt season ending foot injury.

His season was cut short on March 15, 2017, with a broken bone in his left foot. He looks to come back and be a spark the Wolves need off of their bench next year as their bench was one of the worst in the league in most categories.

Often times the Wolves starters could only take a couple minutes rest and have to be back out on the floor to not let a lead slip away.
