Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks hope to move Carmelo Anthony this off-season.

With this being an important off-season for the Minnesota Timberwolves, the front office is no doubt vetting every possible option to return to playoff and title contention.

It’s no secret that the Wolves are a young roster in need of a veteran boost, and there happens to be one available who was once thought to be a superstar in the NBA…

Carmelo Anthony.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins can only do so much. As we saw last year, however, defenses key in on those two and the other Wolves players are unable to take advantage

The Knicks, particularly Zen master Phil Jackson, have been looking to move Carmelo and haven’t been very subtle about it.  This has led people around the web to theorize about his landing destination being anywhere from Cleveland to Milwaukee and much more in between.

The Timberwolves would be an intriguing option for the star player, as one may argue they have never had a player of his likeness. Anthony would change a lot of things for the Wolves franchise as he would completely shift their focus.

This leads me to imagine what the Carmelo Anthony conundrum would look like in a Minnesota Timberwolves jersey.  Why not get in on the fun?
