Bojan Bogdanovic

Bogdanovic was traded to the Wizards from the Brooklyn Nets prior to the February trade deadline. Interestingly, the fourth-year forward was selected by a draft pick originally owned by Minnesota, and his rights were actually traded through the Timberwolves on draft night as well before he ultimately landed in Brooklyn.

The native of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a 36.9 percent career three-point percentage and has averaged 25.4 minutes per game over his three-year career. He’s never been a good defender or even done much on offense other than launch three-pointers, but Bogdanovic has been effective from long-range.

While the Wolves need outside shooting, Bogdanovic is limited beyond that single skill, and isn’t so good at said skill that it is able to out-weigh his many shortcomings.

Verdict: Bogdanovic deserves a spot in an NBA rotation, but it’s tough to see how his limited skill set will fit what Tom Thidodeau and the Timberwolves are trying to build.
