#4 – Miami Heat

The Miami Heat had one of the most surprising and exciting runs in recent memory this past season.

After going on a 13-game winning streak and climbing their way into playoff contention after being seeded as the 15th-worst team in the East, the Miami Heat just missed the playoffs.

The Heat have a number of players set to become unrestricted free agents as Dion Waiters, Willie Reed, James Johnson, Udonis Haslem, and Luke Babbitt are all possibly on their way out of Miami.

Muhammad would be a good addition for the team, as he could serve as a solid sixth-man. James Johnson (possibly), and Tyler Johnson coming off the bench with Shabazz Muhammad would become a threat to opposing team’s second units. With all three players able to score the ball, it will prompt opponents to bring their starting lineups back into the game sooner than they’d like.

While the Miami Heat aren’t likely to be true contenders for awhile, they will have quit a bit of money to spend. Especially if they aren’t able to retain a few of their players during free agency.
