#1 – Brooklyn Nets

And the best-fit landing spot goes to the Brooklyn Nets.

Ultimately for Shabazz, it would be the best place to go. With a lot of money to fork over and nothing really interesting about their team besides Brook Lopez (who may be on his way out soon), Muhammad could really find himself getting paid and receiving a ton of playing time.

If Shabazz was not looking to win, earn money, and really increase his stats, then Brooklyn is the perfect destination. He may even see it as a short-term possibility; a place to really kick-start his game, where he can really be the focal point on offense and probably start.

More than likely, given the low amount of talent on the Nets roster, Shabazz would be able to start and would see a big increase in his offensive numbers. If he can work on his game a lot in Brooklyn, which would be a good place to do so, then he may be able to find a better team that is willing to pay even more for him.

Brooklyn does have a past with paying big money to restricted free agents, but each time they were matched by the opposing team. A great example is Tyler Johnson, who received a surprisingly big contract this past off-season at $50 million over four years from the Nets.

If Shabazz Muhammad wanted to earn a lot of money, increase his stats, and get better as a player, then Brooklyn would be a great option.
