11. Marlon Maxey and 10. Chris Smith

In the 1992 NBA draft the Minnesota Timberwolves selected Marlon Maxey with the 28th pick and Chris Smith with the 34th pick.

Maxey only played two seasons in the NBA, both being with the Timberwolves. He averaged 4.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. He then went on to play overseas like many of the busts on this list.

Maxey officially played his last professional basketball game in 2001. On the other hand, Chris Smith played three seasons with the Timberwolves in which he averaged 5.1 points per game.

Smith was a bit of a disappointment seeing as how successful he was at the collegiate level. He went to the University of Connecticut in which he left the school as the all-time leader in points. (2,145)

He also held the records for most points in Big East Conference history. (1,140 points) After his short stint with the Timberwolves, Smith would continue playing professionally for countless CBA teams.

Due to a great amount of injuries, Smith eventually played his last professional basketball game in 2000. After this he received a B.A. in business administration and went on to work as a business development officer for Peoples Bank.
