We are less than a week away from the 2017 NBA Draft and nobody knows what to expect.

The word around the Minnesota Timberwolves’ camp has been quiet, too quiet. We have heard very little about what the Wolves are looking or trying to do this summer. All we have to go off is pure speculation.

There have been rumblings about trading Ricky Rubio, trading down in the draft and who the Wolves like with the seventh overall pick. Unfortunately for us fans, very little of it has been actual reporting compared to rumors.

This is odd, especially since the man running the show in Minnesota is the most vocal coach in the NBA. He can be heard on your television sets on a nightly basis screaming at his players, refs or anyone who will listen.

Fortunately, this silence means that Tom Thibodeau runs a tight ship and hold his metaphorical cards close to his actual vest.

More from Draft

One year into Thibodeau’s tenure as President of Basketball Operations, we have yet to see him make a trade. SPOILER: that will change on draft night. I won’t go into too many details on this opening page as you’ll have to read on to see exactly what trade (or trades) I’m talking about.

I have scoured the internet and Twitter alike to find any information that I can about the Wolves. With that precious information I found, I have come up with 5 bold predictions that I think will be true by the time we wake up on June 23, the day after the draft.
